My translating work began in 1985 as part of my duties for a publisher of a German popular science magazine which featured articles about German technological and environmental developments. In
1998 I went into business for myself as a translator.
In addition to popular science, the environment and aerospace, my areas of expertise now include modern architecture, art and photography. I often work with advertising agencies that specialize
in those subjects. I also translate film treatments for advertising agencies as well as scripts for industrial films. Drawing on my background as a drama major, I translate film scripts for
movies.
